Theme: | In the context of the Artificial Intelligence research cluster at the Chair of Architectural Informatics, the SENPAI group focuses on the approximation of numerical urban scale simulations for the purpose of supporting design decisions in the early stages of urban planning. Expanding upon the requirement of complex and large datasets is also the development of best practices for the set up of the underlying numerical simulations. A focus being currently placed on urban scale wind simulations. | |
Goal: | The aim of this Master thesis is the research into existing best practices for the set up of urban scale wind simulations and their abstraction into ontological representations. The thesis will then prototypically expand the existing data generation pipeline for urban scale wind simulations and further refine the parameter and environment for the aforementioned simulations. | |
