JEROME BYRON
Jerome is a NYC-born architect, interior designer and furniture designer, and a partner at his firm, Office of BC (Los Angeles-New York). Educated with a professional Bachelors of Architecture from the Pratt Institute, he also holds a post-professional Masters in Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Jerome’s work has encompassed custom concrete material development and casting, steel welding and finishing techniques, as well as traditional wood-carpentry and wood-burning methods in the production of various furniture works. As a furniture designer he has collaborated with CB2 on a line of products and has been exhibited by the Carpenters Gallery Workshop in Los Angeles and New York. With his architectural and interiors practice in Los Angeles he manages construction of all projects including ground-up construction with a focus on custom built-ins and furniture pieces for private and commercial clients. Before founding his own firm he oversaw large-scale design and construction projects and collaborated on live-event design and commercial art direction in Los Angeles. In Berlin he has worked at the offices of Barkow-Leibinger and Kéré Architecture. His work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Cultured Magazine, PIN-UP, Metropolis Mag, Wallpaper and Dwell.
