Invitation to the lecture by LXSY Architekten on February 3, 2025.
LXSY is a Berlin-based architecture firm founded in 2015 by Kim Le Roux and Margit Sichrovsky. Wiebke Ahues joined the team as a partner in May 2024. For all three of them, architecture is an attempt to find answers to the most pressing social, societal, economic and ecological challenges of our time in the built environment.
LXSY deal with the field of circular planning and building and are actively committed to the transformation towards a climate-friendly construction industry. As ambassadors of the building revolution, they set new standards for the future of architecture and question established processes in the construction industry. They transform existing buildings and are pioneers of circular construction. They see every existing building as a material store. They consider the entire life cycle of a building, use yesterday's materials and consider the reparability and reuse of tomorrow today.
MONTAGSREIHE is a series of lectures at the Department of Architecture. Thematically, it is mostly focused on young offices that can give an insight into the beginnings of their practice in addition to their work. The series is intended as an enriching contribution to the Munich architectural discourse between architects, students and architecture enthusiasts.
