The Chair of Urban Development invites you to the final presentation of the open project: "A STEP towards cities without cities: Munich style!".
In collaboration with Zwischenstadt&, the studio examined the North-West peripheral areas of Munich between Unterschleißheim and Fürstenfeldbruck. Urban planning projects examined planning under uncertainty and intermediate spaces . The students of Project MA and Project Urban Landscape II present their explorative approaches and analyses of Munich's "Zwischenstadt". They propose spatial interventions that address the trends of "New work", changes in accessibility through transport infrastructure, and functional relations between cities and towns. These are considered in relation to the long term planning instruments like Perspective Munich and STEP2040.
