An interactive workshop to introduce innovation ecoystems in the built environment industry.
The TUM Venture Labs are the springboard for deep tech entrepreneurship in the most defining fields of our near future. As a joint initiative of TUM and UnternehmerTUM we address with the TUM Venture Lab Built Environment particular topics in that field.
Urban tech, future construction, AI-powered and planet-centered system design will secure our sustainable environments. We support scalable, disruptive business ideas and scalable startups in the fields of civil and environmental engineering, as well as architecture and design, with special focus on AI in the Built World and societal impact.
At digitalBAU we will host a workshop to showcase the importance of cooperation and mutual support in innovation for the built environement industry. The fragmentation of the various branches of industry obscures the view of the potential that arises in cooperation with new companies or through the use of new technologies. Innovation is a social process that can only develop further in a sustainable ecosystem. That is why building innovation ecoysystems matters.
In an interactive workshop format, we introduce the basic features of innovative ecosystems and develop fields of collaboration. Participants from the design and construction industry will work with researchers and start-ups to develop creative approaches to innovative exchange and sketch prototypes of future collaborative projects. The workshop is aimed at all those who would like to gain a deeper insight into the prerequisites for scalable business models and are looking for initial points of contact for an exchange with start-ups. With their many years of experience in science and practice of business development, construction and design projects, Dipl.-Des. Tobias Förtsch and Dr.-Ing. Christos Chantzaras offer an inspiring and entertaining format.
