Anna Gonchar studied architecture at the Technical University Munich from 2012 to 2020, with stays abroad at the Università Iuav di Venezia and the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. She held a scholarship of the Oskar von Miller Forum during her master's studies from 2017 to 2020 and graduated with a theoretical thesis on the typological analysis of Houses of Culture in the Post-Soviet Space.
Between May and November 2022, she worked as a researcher on the project "Media Houses in Germany: Strategies and Architecture 1871-2021" at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden, investigating the reciprocal relationship between architecture and strategic management of media companies.
Since May 2022, she has been working on her doctorate at TUM under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Andres Lepik, researching the emergence of "press architecture" in the Weimar years and its architectural expression at the 1928 International Press Exhibition in Cologne.
