Hyunah Lee studied architecture at the Korea National University of Arts and gained a bachelor’s degree in architecture with RIBA Part 2 in 2013. Since then, she continued to study at Seoul National University to deepen her interest in architectural history and theory and earned her master’s degree in architecture and architectural engineering in 2015. With experience at several architecture firms, she worked as a full-time architect at an architecture firm design camp moonpark dmp partners(Seoul, Korea) in 2016 and 2017. With her background in design, research and practice, she now focuses on the recent history of architecture exhibitions and their political and sociocultural background. Since 2019, Hyunah Lee has been conducting her doctoral research at the chair of the History of Architecture and Curatorial Practice at TUM, on the history of architecture exhibitions at the Korean Pavilion for the Venice Architecture Biennale, from 1996 to 2014.
