REthinking Digital and Urban Circular Ecosystems (REDUCE) (since 2022)
The project group focuses on resource efficiency in building design and urban planning at early design stages. In this context, we focus on two aspects: digital methods for decision support in the early design stages at urban and building scale and storage of digital characteristic parameters of building components in a digital twin. In the first aspect, metrics for a circular and resource-efficient design of buildings will be developed. These metrics will be integrated into a decision support system as a knowledge base to support the design process and to evaluate design options. In the second aspect, information for components reuse and decomposing components will be stored in digital twins.
