Although Augmented Reality (AR) will be an essential component of Industry 4.0, its use in the construction industry and especially in the building sector is much lower than in other industries. Thereby AR has a great potential in the planning as well as the modernization of buildings. In the dynamic markets of the manufacturing industry, there is high competitive pressure. Therefore, companies must be adaptable and constantly improve the efficiency of their production. This thesis aims to create concepts for the collaboration of different actors involved in factory planning and to visualize them using AR. Furthermore, it is investigated whether and how AR can simplify the planning and construction process and reduce the error rate in factory planning for existing buildings. The focus here is primarily on role-specific information presentation.
