Sommersemester 2021
Throughout history, the relationship between the body and space has gradually evolved. With the introduction of digital technologies into architecture, the meaning of embodiment has transformed. This transformation is examined not only from the perspective of creating space but also from the perspective of experiencing space. In order to illustrate the contemporary meaning of embodiment, an interactive installation on the basis of the movement is created. The concept of performativity was explained in detail to demonstrate how embodied spaces will be established. The interactive nature of the installation serves as the initiator of the performance, where people and space are transformed by each other reciprocally. Thus, it encourages people to reevaluate their perception of spaces and consider their impact on their surroundings.
