COURSE STRUCTURE
With the project "Brewing metabolisms – a biofabricated pavilion" we are taking a look at the Munich brewery region and using local material cycles (such as hops or spent grains) to build a bio-based pavilion on the TUM Campus. Whether building material from hops - in exchange with the TUM Entrepreneur Project "HopfOn" – or speculative yeast fermentation processes for regenerative treatment of process waste – the goal is to create a regenerative environment in the holistic-metabolic sense, which demonstrates the potential of regional biomaterials on a 1:1 scale.
