with Henry Glogau - HGS / Copenhagen
Henry Glogau is a New Zealand Architect who specializes in Architecture and Extreme Environments. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy in Copenhagen in 2020 and has since explored present and future global challenges through expeditions to diverse locations. Through a site-specific and active 1:1 prototyping approach, Henry’s projects explore at various scales the interconnecting relationships between architecture, technology, people, and the environment. Alongside his own ‘Henry Glogau Studio’, he works as an Architect at Copenhagen-based Innovation firm GXN In recognition of his work, Henry was awarded the Danish Design 'Young Talent' of the Year Award in 2022.
The WATER EVER - Lecture Series Architectural Design WS23/24 is part of the series Participation Around the World at the Chair of Architectural Design and Participation.
The theme this semester is WATER EVER, addressing water challenges through experimental architecture. The lectures will explore different topics within the main theme, such as rainwater harvesting, fog harvesting, desalination and collective water.
