On Wednesday December 4, 2024, Jörg Drewes will hold a lecture as part of the WATER EVER lecture series organized by the Chair of Architectural Design and Participation.
Jörg Drewes is Professor of the Chair of Urban Water Systems Engineering at the Technical University of Munich, and Academic Director of the Environmental Engineering Program. Previously, he was a professor at the Colorado School of Mines (CSM), where he directed research for the NSF ReNUWIt program. He has also held leadership roles at Arizona State University and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia.
His research focuses on advanced water and wastewater treatment, water reuse, and public health, with over 360 peer-reviewed publications (h-index 67). He advises the German Government on global change and drinking water and has received honors including the Bavarian State Medal for Environmental Services and the William Dunbar Medal.
