Research & Innovation
The Department of Architecture lists a plenty of ongoing research and development projects. The number of registered doctorates – currently more than 160 – is very high in comparison with other german schools of architecture. In terms of research reputation and performance, the department is one of the leaders in the field of German architectural education. The third-party funding income of the Department of Architecture is among the TOP 5 in Germany in all categories (5.5 million euros total income in 2018).
