The Cluster Sustainable Real Estate (CSRE) serves as an interdisciplinary and innovative exchange platform between scientists from various disciplines at TUM along the real estate process chain, such as architecture, engineering, economics, political and social sciences, and professionals from the real estate industry. The CSRE promotes dialogue between these actors and thus generates forward-looking knowledge.
The CSRE and its partners support teaching and research at TUM in the area of sustainable real estate in terms of content and finances. The CSRE and the part-time continuing education program are located at the TUm School of Engineering and Design. In addition, initiatives such as CirculaTUM, TUM Sustainability Office, Munich Urban Colab, Ecological Building, TUM.wood and the Energy and Innovation project platform are included. This TUM-wide anchoring of teaching and research drives multidisciplinary, scientific knowledge generation with a focus on the real estate industry.
