Gido Dielemans, M.Sc.
Gido is a structural engineer and researcher focusing on architectural and structural solutions through the use of mobile robotics. He holds a Master’s in Architecture, Building, and Planning – Specialization Structural Engineering and Design from Eindhoven University of Technology. During his studies, he took part in a project concerning Fabric Formwork; with parametric design, a full-scale, real-world building structure was created. For his Master's thesis, he applied structural optimisation to shell structures, to reduce the sensitivity of these structures to geometric imperfections.
In January 2020 he joined the research group Digital Fabrication of Prof. Dr. Kathrin Dörfler at the Technical University of Munich to conduct research in the area of Mobile Robotics for Additive Manufacturing in Constructionas a part of the DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre TRR 277 AMC.
