Janna Vollrath, M.Sc.
Janna Vollrath is an architect and researcher focusing on sustainable digital construction methods. She holds a master’s degree in architecture from the Technical University of Braunschweig, where she researched the combination of knitted formwork, fibre wound reinforcement, and robotic shotcreting for architectural building fabrication. She worked at the Institute of Structural Design at TU Braunschweig as a student assistant, and after completing her studies, she became the coordinator of the "Final Demonstrators" in the Collaborative Research Centre "Transregio 277 Additive Manufacturing in Construction" there.
In January 2024, she joined the research group of Digital Fabrication to conduct research as part of the Timber Earth Slab project.
