ParaClimbing - Computational model for climate active design with climbing plants
The Studio aimed at developing a model to prefigure growing patterns of different plant species and their effects to be applied to the Urban Micro Climate Canopy. The UMCC was used as a physical model to predict and measure plants growing patterns, microclimatic conditions and people’s dynamics through different sensing techniques. The generated data was fed into a simulation based parametric model that is able to inform the design process.
