In the seminar “Special Topics Green Technologies - Step by Step” will be carried out a feasibility study, based on the bachelor thesis by Philipp Endisch, of a baubotanik footbridge on the Campus Weihenstephan. The original design will be developed further, that the realisation of the design can start in the near future.

The Seminar will link different disciplines to cover all design and planning aspects of the project. This includes landscape architects, architects, civil engineers, structural engineers and tree experts. The planning aspects include the spatial design of the baubotanik footbridge, the consideration of tree growth dynamics, the calculation of load capacities and a timeline of the future development of the project, incl. maintenance measures.

We welcome students from Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering and Forestry Science.
