Solar Station

The solar station is installed on the roof of the main building of the TU München at a height of approx. 28 m. The station consists of three cuboids, which stand on a steel frame of the north terrace of the main building. One cuboid represents a 1:1 simulation of a room with its measurement field oriented south-west. The two volumes to the right and left of the large body simulate rooms on a scale of 1:5 and can be rotated in two axes in order to investigate various sun positions and the effects of solar radiation.
