Doctoral College 2017–2020
The third International Doctoral College, carried by the ETH Zürich, the HafenCity University Hamburg, the KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), the TU Munich, the TU Wien. New members are the TU Berlin and the TU Dortmund.
The framework topic for the curriculum of the Doctoral College 2017 - 2020 is "crossing borders - activating spaces." The doctoral candidates at the different university locations deal with important space-related issues, exploring the possibilities of cross-border concepts and strategies.Two doctoral weeks per year at the participating professorships serve to exchange and develope the quality of the research accompanied by additional qualifications through guest lectures by renowned experts. In March 2017, the College started successfully with a first doctoral week at the Technical University of Munich.
