Change of Color
Qualification of the outskirts in the southeast of Munich
Bachelor 1. Semester - Winter Term 2021/22
Project Landscape Architecture 1, 14 CP
In the south-east of Munich, a road route to connect Neuperlach was kept clear for decades: A hundred-meter-wide strip of fields, meadows and fallow land stretches between multi-story residential buildings, businesses and terraced housing estates. The dedication as gray infrastructure will not be pursued further, so there is now the chance to develop this gap in the city fabric as a connecting green corridor. It must fulfill many requirements: as a local recreation area and pathway, as a biotope and habitat, as flood protection and cold air supplier. Integrated into a city-wide network of green corridors and parks, the CHANGE OF COLOR project is an important pieve for the sustainable development of Munich's urban fringe as a living space.
In addition to the project work, the module consists of the lecture Grundlagen der Landschaftsarchitektur, as well as the integration Grundlagen der Landschaftsplanung.
