Topic: The Spatial Strategy approach developed at the Chair is to be further developed and integrated into current planning-related research.
Abstract: Spatial Strategy will be further developed based on findings from planning-related research and projects in teaching and commissioned projects. Spatial Strategy is understood as a methodology that enables planners to overcome weaknesses of conventional spatial planning. Spatial Strategy is based on an understanding of space that includes not only distance and functional space but also process space. It sees strategy as a sequence of impact-related activities to achieve a goal.
