Participation to the InART2024 Conference

Preliminary results of the investigation of the palimpsest of the Magdalen Chapel of St. Emmeram in Regensburg were presented.

The research project “Development of a methodology for non-destructive studies of wall paintings in situ: The palimpsest of the Magdalen Chapel of St. Emmeram, Regensburg“ founded by DFG was presented at the 6th International Conference on Innovation in Art Research and Technology – InART2024.

The poster presented by Dr. Eva Mariasole Angelin included the methodology of investigation and preliminary analytical results collected by the insiTUMlab about the color palette of the painting phases.
