The wall paintings of the Magdalen Chapel of St. Emmeram in Regensburg are being analyzed and documented systematically for the first time as part of the DFG research project "Development of a methodology for non-destructive studies of wall paintings in situ" and a dissertation. To mark the start of the DFG research project, Dr. Clarimma Sessa and conservator M.A. Nadia Thalguter will be giving an insight into their research at the Tag des offenen Denkmals®.
