Jakob Kellnberger B.Eng.
Jakob Kellnberger started his career in 2017 with a dual study program at Josef Meier GmbH & Co. KG, a medium-sized construction company. He completed his apprenticeship as an architectural draftsman there in 2020. He began his studies in civil engineering at the Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Regensburg in 2018, which he successfully completed in early 2022 with a Bachelor of Engineering.
Kellnberger then embarked on a consecutive Master's in Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. In addition to the regular lectures, he worked as a student trainee at the firm LEICHT Structural Engineering and Specialist Consulting GmbH, which specializes in structural design and façade planning. He also gained his first insights into research as a student researcher at the chairs of concrete construction and structural analysis.
After a six-month internship on a tunneling construction site in Stockholm with the company Implenia AG, Kellnberger decided to return to TUM to conduct research and teach in the field of structural design.
Jakob Kellnberger is currently researching in the fields of membrane structures at the Professorship of Structural Design. He is also working on his Master's thesis in this context.
