Katharina Dienes

Curriculum Vitae
Katharina Dienes is a Senior Researcher at Fraunhofer IAO and a PhD candidate at the University of Stuttgart in cooperation with the Technical University of Munich. Her work focuses on new work environments, with a particular emphasis on Third Workplaces and their role in urban and regional development, alongside innovation networks and future-oriented urban strategies. In addition to her research activities, she is a freelance author for polis Magazin and an experienced keynote speaker at conferences, public sector events, and industry formats.
Katharina holds a Master’s degree in Architecture (Urban Design) from the University of Kassel and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Stuttgart. During her studies, she was part of an international research collaboration at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Her master’s thesis received the Pfeiffer Foundation Award for Architecture in the category of analytically and research-oriented academic work.
