During her time at MaCI, Nina will undertake research for her project, "Mediated Architecture for Social Constructions of Futures" (MASCoF). Her focus is on exploring how architecture is mobilized for the production of representations of futures, which, when mediated and circulated, contribute to social constructions of reality. She will delve into the diverse ways in which large-scale architectural projects—both realized and conceptual—emerge as focal points for wider sets of social claims regarding the future. The overarching goal is to unveil the potential impact of mediated architecture in perpetuating power structures.
